Under 16 Girls Win in Style but tough day for the County

The under 16 Girls finally hit the form that many expected of them with a thumping 7-2 win over Oxford and were robbed of a win against Sussex with a controversal goal from the combination of home team and home umpire! Emily Talbot's Match Report here! The honour for the day, however, needs to be shared with the U15 Girls who beat last year's Championship Winners, Hampshire 2-1 after a slow start against Middlesex going down 2-1. The other County teams suffered from playing matches in the middle of the JDCs against teams that have been together for months. The U14 Girls went down heavily to a well organised Surrey and individually brilliant Bucks while the boys U13 (Full Match Reports)and U14 teams suffered  heavily at the hands of Hampshire and Bucks ....but will rise again from the ashes>! Come on Berkshire!
